Coltrane's classic, and I've got the great Eric Gunnison, Ron Bland and Mike Marlier joining me on this jazz/blues tune.

The Quick on my music
I've got a variety of music here - full details farther down the page, but here's the quick list by GENRE and clickable to listen; these are all originals except as noted:
JAZZ - These are my classic jazz originals (mostly):

- Bop That Rhythm
- You Know That I've Loved You (For A Long, Long Time)
- Wijic
- Equinox (my cover of the Coltrane classic)
LATIN/JAZZ/FUSION:
- Subtle Approach (New Version) - Santana-ish!
- Poinciana (my cover of a classic)
NEW ORLEANS BLUES/FUNK/JAZZ:
- Congo Square (a cover of another classic made famous by The Neville Brothers)
ROCK:
- Circle of Life (no, not Elton John's tune - this is our original - classic 70's)
AMERICANA:
- Rhythmericana - This one just kind of emerged one day
NEW AGE/AMBIENT/ELECTRONIC/GROOVE INSTRUMENTALS:

Nice comment about Bop That Rhythm:
"I wish you could hear me up whining through the screen. What a perfect jazz song. I've heard so many bad songs today that this was so nice to hear. The mix is fantastic. The performance of each instrument is spot on. It's like each instrument had their chance to shine, but also breathe so that you could hear each one very well throughout the song. I was like, "what is that piano doing?!" in a good way, around 2:10! I almost feel like this song should've been called "swing that rhythm" because it has a very Swing feel to it. Regardless, I listened to the full thing and I really enjoyed it. Keep it up. This is awesome."

REVIEWS OF my recent single, You Know That I've Loved You (For A Long, Long Time):
This jazz is smooth, engaging and creative. I love it. This is the kind of music that got me interested in jazz in the first place-- mental music that puts you in a good space/place mentally, pulls you into the song and allows you to daydream or drift off to another time and place. I love the composition, the tones, the tempo-- the horns are beautiful, the vibraphone. . .was so unique. It's a great song, crystal clear in production also, which is really nice. Talented musician. The saxophone solos are my favorite part, but there's nothing I dislike.
I found this to be extremely enjoyable and this is exactly the type of jazz and blues music that I listen to during my spare time. This had such a relaxing mood to it and it definitely reminds me when I used to play jazz music in high school band. This type of jazz music has always been my favorite as it has an overly positive vibe, but it is also very mellow and tranquil as well. Definitely inspires me to want to become a better musician than I already am.
I dont speak like this normally but...this is f...king awesome. [of course, my favorite review. . .LOL - SC]
I like the rhythm and melody of this jazz song. I like the piano, vibraphone, shaker and sax sounds heard in this song. I like the musical transition around 90 seconds in where the extended sax and vibraphone instrumentals begin. I like the title of the song and the artist's name.
Definitely could picture this being on the radio.
This is something real special.
I love the retro feel; there's great pep and energy, and best of all, a lighthearted and whimsical feel to the entire recording. I wish more jazz songs were as upbeat as this.
This was a pretty mellow and relaxing song. I liked the vibraphone, it was a bit distinctive sounding and worked nicely with the piano. Nicely balanced and layered. The sound quality was quite good.
Very relaxing and it was easy to get into. It tells a really good story.
The saxophone player is truly amazing. It also lives up to its name.
Really well done. I enjoyed this a lot, it was a really chill tune. There's honestly no room here for constructive criticism. Well done!
Happy vibes! Feels like I'm on vacation!
I totally enjoyed listening to this outstanding musical selection. There was a very high degree of instrumental talent displayed in this song. I would love to hear many more songs similar to this one.
A good bossa nova type song. I'm enjoying this!
A very nice feel to it; a good jazzy sound.
A distinctive style. The blend of instruments gave the song depth. The musicians played well and showcased their talents. The sound quality was rich and resonant.
Well performed and arranged. I think there is a lot of potential uses for this song.
Melodic and clean to me with a simple melody that is wholesome to listen to. Great chords that are used here. Great stuff.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this song; very clear and relaxing to listen to.
Amazing. It's so relaxing and a joy to listen to. I absolutely love the sax parts, but in general all the instruments are great. It's beautifully composed.
I found the vibe and sound to be as a whole appealing and easy to listen to. The instrumentals and sounds were done well and made it nice to listen to.
Beautiful, heartfelt and captivating, I really enjoyed listening to this song, it’s very entertaining, a great song.
The start is powerful and keeps me glued to it. I like the beat and the pace of the song. The instruments are well arranged.
This piece is like fresh air for my soul. It keeps me moving while also allowing me to breathe. I love everything about it.
The instrumentation is smooth and sounds good. This is a quality jazz record and it's chill, positive and smooth. The piano is great and horns are nice too.
Like the vibe. Piano sounds excellent. Like the vibraphone sound which is pretty. The sax sounds great. Overall a nice piece and played well.
This is a sparkly jazz instrumental! I love the vibraphone, the piano, and that sax. I'd like to use this song as part of the soundtrack of my life!
Quite enjoyable on the ear.
Ideal to listen to in the morning while drinking a good coffee. It's a song that gets the day started on the right foot.
Very high-end musicianship that I enjoyed listening to. The recording is very clear and sounds very professionally done.
I love the tropical melody and sounds of the vibraphone in the song's instrumentation. I love how the saxophone adds a divine sound and touch.
I liked the flow over the smooth and subtle beat. The instruments were well played. Really easy to get into.
The vibraphone is very well played in my opinion. Some of the clubs could use this song to an advantage.

A great beat and the music was very smooth. I especially enjoyed the horns. It would be a great song to dance to.
I really like the rhythm, the beat and the tempo of this jazz song a lot, and I think the instrumentals are really well done.
Love that quick drum fill in the beginning to start this one off. The piano and all the other sounds were amazing on this.
The intro is great and I love the sultry vibe here. The piano is amazing as is the groove and the percussion as well.
